Sheila Starkey Hahn has devoted her entire legal career to the practice of immigration law. With offices in up-state New York, Memphis and Washington DC, Ms. Starkey Hahn focuses her practice on employment-based immigration. She assists established companies, tech start-ups and individuals in processing nonimmigrant visas in all categories including H1B Temporary Professionals, O1 Persons of Extraordinary Ability, E Treaty Investors and L1 Intracompany Transferees. She has assisted thousands of individuals in obtaining employment-based green cards. Ms. Starkey Hahn has served in multiple leadership roles within the American Immigration Lawyers Association, lectures frequently on topics of immigration law, and is the author of numerous articles on various immigration topics. She has been named a Best Lawyer in America for Immigration Law by Best Lawyers and USA Today every year since 2017 and is the recipient of the 2018 Michael Maggio Pro Bono Award for her pro bono contributions, including representation of Central American asylum seekers detained at the southern border.
Ms. Starkey Hahn received her Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Buffalo, magna cum laude, phi beta kappa.
