Sheila T. Starkey Hahn

Sheila Starkey Hahn has devoted her entire legal career to the practice of immigration law. Ms. Starkey Hahn focuses her practice on employment-based immigration. She assists established companies, tech start-ups and individuals in processing nonimmigrant visas and green cards, with a focus on H1B Temporary Professionals, O1 Persons of Extraordinary Ability, E Treaty Investors and L1 Intracompany Transferees and the corresponding immigrant visa categories. Ms. Starkey Hahn has served in multiple leadership roles within the American Immigration Lawyers Association, lectures frequently on topics of immigration law, and is the author of numerous articles on various immigration topics. She has been named a Best Lawyer in America for Immigration Law by Best Lawyers and USA Today every year since 2017, has been named the Best Lawyers 2022 Lawyer of the Year for Immigration Law in Western New York, and is the recipient of the 2018 Michael Maggio Pro Bono Award for her pro bono representation of Central American asylum seekers detained at the southern border.

Ms. Starkey Hahn received her Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Buffalo, magna cum laude, phi beta kappa.
